✨ Intro to Wheel Throwing – 2 Hour 1:1 Session

2 hrs£65

A relaxed, creative session to explore wheel throwing — perfect for beginners.

In this two-hour one-to-one session, you'll be guided through the basics in a calm, supportive space. It's ideal if you're curious about clay, want to try something new, or are simply looking to slow down and work with your hands.

You'll learn to centre clay and shape simple forms like bowls or small vessels — no pressure, no experience needed.

🎨 What’s included:
– 2-hour private session
– Materials and tools
– Make 3–4 pieces
– Firing of 1–2 of your favourite pieces (glazed by me or return to glaze)

🧱 Your piece(s) will be fired and ready to collect in 6–8 weeks. Want to return to trim or glaze your own piece? Book a follow-on session.

🎁 Vouchers available. For a shared session, please book a two-to-one.

🧼 Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Tie back long hair and keep nails short if you can.

✂️ Trim & Make – 2 Hour Follow-On Session

A relaxed follow-on session for those who’ve already attended an Intro to Wheel Throwing.

We’ll start by trimming your leather-hard piece from your first session (refining the base and form), then you’ll have time to throw one or two more pots. This is a chance to build confidence and continue the creative process with gentle guidance and more wheel time.

🎨 What’s included:
– 2-hour private session
– Trimming tuition for your first pieces
– Time to make 1–2 new pieces
– Firing of one to two additional pots
– Option to return and glaze your work

🧱 Please note:
This session must be booked within 1 week of your original session so your clay is at the right stage to trim. This is a returning session only — if you’re new to wheel throwing, please book the Intro first.

✨ Beginner Bundle – Intro + Trim & Make (2 x 2hr)

A two-part experience designed for curious beginners who want to dive deeper into pottery.

Start with a 2-hour Intro to Wheel Throwing, where you’ll learn the basics in a calm, encouraging setting. Then return for a Trim & Make session to refine your first piece and keep creating with more confidence and flow.

🎨 What’s included:
– Intro to Wheel Throwing (2hr private session)
– Trim & Make Follow-On (2hr private session)
– Make up to 6 pieces across both sessions
– Firing of up to 3 to 4 favourites
– Option to return and glaze if you’d like to finish your work yourself

🧱 After booking, I’ll confirm your first date and arrange your follow-on session (ideally 1-2 week later so your pot is ready to trim).

🎨 Glaze Your Pot – 1 Hour Guided Session

1 hr£40

Complete the full process — from raw clay to finished pieces — made with your own hands.

In this one-hour session, you’ll glaze your bisque-fired pot using glazes or underglazes, with gentle guidance and tips to help you get the best result. You’ll learn how to dip, pour, or brush glaze, choose colour combinations, and avoid common issues like drips or glaze on the base.

🖌️ What’s included:
– 1-hour studio session (for up to 2 people)
– Use of studio glazes and tools
– Final glaze firing
– Personal guidance throughout

📌 This session is only for pots made in one of your previous sessions (Intro, Trim & Make, or Bundle).
Pieces must be bisque fired and glaze-ready — if you’re unsure, feel free to get in touch before booking.

👯‍♀️ Wheel Throwing For Two – Shared Taster Session (2hr / £85)

A relaxed, creative session for two people to share the pottery wheel — perfect for couples, friends or family.

In this 2-hour session, you’ll take turns learning the basics of wheel throwing in a calm, supportive environment. Whether you’re celebrating something or just want to try something new together, it’s a mindful, hands-on way to connect and get creative.

You’ll each get time on the wheel to centre clay and shape a small piece, with plenty of support and time to watch, learn, and enjoy the process side by side.

🎨 What’s included:
– 2-hour private session for two
– Shared use of one wheel (taking turns)
– All tools and materials
– Make 2-4 pots between you
– Firing and finishing of up to 2 favourite pieces each
– Option to return and glaze your work

🧱 Finished pieces will be ready to collect in around 6–8 weeks.

🔁 Return to the Wheel – 1.5 Hour Session

1 hr 30 mins£55

A relaxed follow-up session for returning potters.

This 1.5-hour session is for those who’ve already attended an Intro or Bundle session and want more time to explore throwing. With less instruction and more creative freedom, it’s ideal if you’re ready to practise at your own pace and grow your confidence on the wheel.

You’ll still be guided when needed — but the focus here is on play, flow, and building your skills through doing.

🎨 What’s included:
– 1.5-hour private session
– All tools and clay
– Make 2–4 pots
– Firing and finishing of one to two favourite pieces
– Option to return and glaze your own work

🧱 Additional pots can be finished/fired for a small extra fee.
📌 This session is only available to those who’ve previously booked an Intro or Bundle session. New to the wheel? Please book the Intro to Wheel Throwing session instead.
